I bought this locally as a birthday present for my wife who has had high blood pressure readings lately. She is low vision, so I thought the talking blood pressure monitor would be perfect for her. This model even comes in a nice plastic clamshell carrying case (like a new wrist watch) and seems to be well-made. However, my wife and I both tried it about 10 different times and got an error message every time. It doesn’t feel like it’s inflating enough to get a reading and we wonder if we got a defective model, but it’s going back to the store and I’m going to look at another talking model.
